Noodles With Herbed Carrots

Ingredients

- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups shredded carrots, from one 10-oz . pkg
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 3/4 teaspoon dried rubbed sage
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 cook noodles according to package directions; drain.
- 2 in same pot melt butter over low heat. add carrots; cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, 3-4 minutes. stir in parsley, sage, salt, and pepper.
- 3 add noodles; toss to coat.
