Ingredients
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 tablespoon ginger juice or 1 inch ginger, sliced or 2 teaspoons ginger, powdered
- 1/4 cup rice wine or 1/4 cup sake
- 1 teaspoon black pepper

- 1 combine ingredients in a saucepan and simmer on low heat until thick.
