Perfect Basic Rice

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon butter

Recipe

  • 1 in a saucepan with a good fitting lid bring chicken broth and butter to a boil.
  • 2 add rice and stir.
  • 3 cover and reduce heat to medium low. cook for 20 minutes. do not lift lid!
  • 4 remove from heat and fluff with fork. serve!
