Penne Alla Vodka

Ingredients

- 1 (500 g) package penne
- 4 quarts water
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 large tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1/4 cup whipping cream
- 1/4 cup vodka
- 1 tablespoon dried red pepper, crushed
- 1/3-1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- parmesan cheese, for passing
Recipe
- 1 steep the pepper in the vodka 3 days before using.
- 2 bring the water to the boil in a large pot and add the pasta.
