Penne Alla Vodka

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (500 g) package penne
  • 4 quarts water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 large tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 1 tablespoon dried red pepper, crushed
  • 1/3-1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • parmesan cheese, for passing

Recipe

  • 1 steep the pepper in the vodka 3 days before using.
