Lemon Sauce

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3/8 cup butter
  • 1 large lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon unrefined sugar
  • 3 tablespoons lemon curd

Recipe

  • 1 in a small non reactive pan slowly melt the butter.
  • 2 zest the lemon and put the zest in the butter.
  • 3 juice the lemon and add to pan.
  • 4 add the salt and sugar.
  • 5 add the lemon curd and stir until curd is dissolved and sauce has thickened. remove from heat.
  • 6 warm the sauce just before use. pour over chicken, fish and/or rice.
