- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 1 lemon, juice and zest of
- 1 teaspoon poppy seed
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 pinch salt
Recipe
- 1 cook pasta according to package directions. drain, reserving 2 tablespoons of the cooking water.
- 2 place the noodles in a large bowl. add butter, lemon, poppy seeds, sugar, salt and the reserved water. toss to combine. serve hot.
