Mom's Macaroni And Cheese

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1 tablespoon instant minced onion
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 2 cups macaroni noodles

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f. grease 3 quart casserole dish.
  • 2 melt butter in large saucepan, whisk in flour, add salt, pepper and minced onion. slowly add milk, stir continuously until mixture comes to a boil. reduce heat and add cubed velveeta cheese. continue stirring until cheese has melted.
  • 3 meanwhile cook macaroni nooddles until desired consistancy. drain noodles.
  • 4 combine cheese sauce and noodles in prepared casserole dish. bake for 30-45 minutes or until bubbly and beginning to brown on edges.
