Macaroni 3 Cheese

Ingredients

- 1 lb macaroni noodles
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup flour
- 4 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- fresh ground black pepper
- 1 dash hot sauce
- 3 cups grated tasty cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated mild cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Recipe
- 1 cook pasta according to packet instructions, drain and set aside.
- 2 heat oven to 180°c (350°f) degrees.
- 3 in a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and stir in flour to form a paste.
- 4 slowly whisk in milk.
- 5 bring to a simmer, constantly stirring over low heat, until sauce begins to thicken.
- 6 season with salt, pepper and the hot sauce.
- 7 remove from heat and stir in 1 1/2 cups of the tasty cheddar cheese until blended.
- 8 butter a 4-quart baking dish.
- 9 layer pasta, remaining tasty cheddar and mild cheese, and sauce.
- 10 sprinkle top with parmesan.
- 11 bake 30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
