Macaroni & Cheese

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni, dry

Recipe

  • 1 bring 6 cups water to boil in large pot.
  • 2 add macaroni and boil 6-8 minutes.
  • 3 drain.
  • 4 in annother pot, over medium heat, slowly melt the butter.
  • 5 remove from heat.
  • 6 stir flour and salt into melted butter until mixture is smooth.
  • 7 slowly add milk, stirring to avoid lumps.
  • 8 return pan to heat.
  • 9 cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick and bubbly.
  • 10 add cheese.
  • 11 cook until cheese melts.
  • 12 add macaroni and stir.
