Mom's Best Turkey Or Hamburger Rice Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey or 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- salt
- pepper
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup or 1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup or 1 (10 ounce) can cream of celery soup
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 1/2 cups minute rice
Recipe
- 1 brown meat in a skillet with onion powder, celery salt, salt and pepper.
- 2 in a large pot over medium high heat, whisk together cream soup, water, and soy sauce.
- 3 add rice and meat, bring to a boil.
- 4 simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, do not cover.
- 5 pour into a greased casserole dish with a lid.
- 6 bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees.
- 7 *note* when i make the beef variation i like to add two teaspoons of beef granules. or two beef cubes for more of a beefy flavor.
