My Mom's Famous Rice

Ingredients

- 1 cup rice
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, sliced in two halves
- 1/2 of a small onion
- 3 dashes salt
Recipe
- 1 pour water and rice in a rice cooker.
- 2 add butter and olive oil.
- 3 slice the garlic clove in half and add both halves.
- 4 slice a small onion in half and add the onion half to the rice cooker. (you can remove the onion half once the rice is done cooking, or it can be eaten.).
- 5 add salt.
- 6 cook in covered rice cooker.
