My Mom's Famous Rice

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, sliced in two halves
  • 1/2 of a small onion
  • 3 dashes salt

Recipe

  • 1 pour water and rice in a rice cooker.
  • 2 add butter and olive oil.
  • 3 slice the garlic clove in half and add both halves.
  • 4 slice a small onion in half and add the onion half to the rice cooker. (you can remove the onion half once the rice is done cooking, or it can be eaten.).
  • 5 add salt.
  • 6 cook in covered rice cooker.
