Mexican Pie

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 lb lean ground veal
- 1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 398 ml mushrooms, sliced and drained (i would try with fresh mushrooms)
- 1 celery root, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dry oregano
- 5 1/2 ounces tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
- 1 cup instant rice, uncooked
- 1 cup water
- 5 1/2 ounces tomato paste
- 1 cup cheese, grated
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
- 2 bottom of pie: mix all ingredients for the bottom all together and put in pie plate of 9 inches.
- 3 filling: mix all ingredients of the filling, except the cheese and put on the mixture of veal.
- 4 bake 30 minutes. add the cheese, and put back in the oven for 10 minutes.
