Macaroni And Beef

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb 90% lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, with juices
  • 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil in heavy skillet.
  • 2 brown beef.
  • 3 add onion and green pepper and sauté until vegetables soften.
  • 4 drain off excess fat.
  • 5 add remaining ingredients.
  • 6 bring to a boil, turn down to a simmer and cook 15 min, stirring occasionally.
