Mandarin Orange Chicken

Ingredients

- 1 chicken breast, cut into 1 in. pieces
- 1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tablespoons onions (diced)
- 1 (3 ounce) can orange sections (preferably in water)
- 1/4 cup frozen corn
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon ginger (ground)
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon honey
Recipe
- 1 drain the can of orange segments, rinse.
- 2 mix ginger, sugar, sesame oil and soy sauce, let heat gently in frying pan.
- 3 add chicken pieces and chopped onion, saute over medium high heat till chicken is .
- 4 add corn and bell pepper, saute for three minutes.
- 5 add drained and rinsed oranges, and then spoon honey over mixture.
- 6 saute for ten minutes, raise heat to high if desired.
- 7 check chicken pieces with a toothpick to see if ready, there should still be a fair amount of liquid in the pan. serve with rice.
