Nutty Coleslaw

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 (16 ounce) package coleslaw
  • 8 ounces green onions (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons margarine or 2 tablespoons butter
  • 8 tablespoons slivered almonds
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages ramen noodles
  • 1 teaspoon accent seasoning
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil

Recipe

  • 1 mix together coleslaw and green onions in a large bowl.
  • 2 brown almonds and seeds in the butter/margarine.
  • 3 let them cool a bit and then add to the slaw mix.
  • 4 toast broken ramen noodles in the margarine.
  • 5 mix remaining ingredients in a shaker to make the dressing.
  • 6 then add the dressing to the noodles and toss right before serving.
