Oat Burgers

Ingredients

- 4 cups water
- 1/2 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce or 1/2 cup tamari
- 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- 1/2 cup pecans, ground
- 4 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
Recipe
- 1 bring all ingredients except the oats and nuts to a boil.
- 2 turn heat to low and stir in 4.
- 3 5 cups rolled oats and nuts.
- 4 cook for about 5 minutes until the water is absorbed.

- 6 fill a rectangular 13 x 9 non-stick baking pan with the mixture.
