My New Yummy Chicken

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 3 chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic pepper seasoning
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Recipe

  • 1 brown the chicken with the thyme and garlic pepper.
  • 2 add to that a mixture of 1/2 the can of cream of chicken soup and water and simmer for about 5-7 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink in the middle.
  • 3 then mix together the broth and other 1/2 of the cream of chicken, and add that to the pan also.
  • 4 after another few minutes of simmering, add the cheeses and cook through.
  • 5 i served it with steamed rice and vegetables on the side, but imagine that it would also be good with pasta, or even egg noodles.
