Mushroom And Herb Sauce For Pasta

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 9 ounces mushrooms, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • 5 tablespoons water
  • parmesan cheese, grated

Recipe

  • 1 heat the olive oil in a small saucpan, add the mushrooms and fry gently for about 5 minutes or until softened.
  • 2 add the garlic and the parsley, season with pepper and leave to cook for a few minutes in their own juices.
  • 3 gradually add the flour, stirring constantly, then enough water to make a thick, creamy sauce.
  • 4 served with grated parmesan if you wish.
