Milanese Rice (oamc)

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup rice, uncooked
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 cup bacon, crisp, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons dry wine
  • 1 (6 ounce) can mushrooms
  • 2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 heat butter and oil in heavy skillet.
  • 2 add rice, onion, and garlic and brown until rice is golden.
  • 3 add balance of ingredients; cover and bake at 350 degrees f. for 45 minutes or until rice is dry.
