Milanese Rice (oamc)

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup rice, uncooked
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 cup bacon, crisp, crumbled
- 2 tablespoons dry wine
- 1 (6 ounce) can mushrooms
- 2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans chicken broth
- salt
- pepper
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Recipe
- 1 heat butter and oil in heavy skillet.
- 2 add rice, onion, and garlic and brown until rice is golden.
- 3 add balance of ingredients; cover and bake at 350 degrees f. for 45 minutes or until rice is dry.
