Margie's Chicken And Sausage

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 lb bulk sausage (prefer hot-but mild is ok)
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 4 ounces milk
  • 1 dash nutmeg

Recipe

  • 1 brown sausage in frying pan.
  • 2 drain grease, set sausage on plate, and wipe pan with paper towel.
  • 3 cook chicken 4-6 minutes each side in frying pan.
  • 4 set chicken in oven proof casserole dish.
  • 5 put sausage back in pan.
  • 6 add soup, milk, and nutmeg.
  • 7 warm and stir.
  • 8 pour sausage mixture over chicken.
  • 9 bake in 350°f oven for 30-40 minutes.
  • 10 serve over rice or egg noodles.
