Mom's Stroganoff

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 ounces mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 2 cups water or 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/3 cup cold water
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup greek yogurt
Recipe
- 1 brown beef, mushrooms, and onions together.
- 2 add first water or broth, ketchup, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- 3 cook for 10-15 minutes.
- 4 mix second water and flour together well separately - no lumps.
- 5 stir into beef mixture while adding. reduce heat and let thicken.
- 6 stir in greek yogurt last before serving. do not boil after adding the yogurt.
- 7 serve over egg noodles or rice.
