Lime Chicken With Peppers

Ingredients

- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 1/2 lbs chicken tenders
- 1/2 medium red onion, chopped
- 1 red pepper, cut into long strips
- 1 green pepper, cut into long strips
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup flour (divided)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 lb spinach fettuccine, cooked and drained (or regular fettucine noodles)
- cilantro, for garnish
Recipe
- 1 combine garlic, broth, 2 tbsp lime juice, soy sauce, chicken, red onion, and red and green peppers in slow cooker.
- 2 stir to coat chicken.
- 3 cook on low for about 4 hours (depending on how fast your slow cooker cooks).
- 4 in a large skillet, melt butter over low heat.
- 5 as soon as butter is melted sprinkle in 1/4 cup of flour.

- 7 slowly add in whole milk and stir with whisk; it should be pretty thick.

- 10 get more liquid from slow cooker and add it into creamy mixture
- 11 add in about 2 tbsp to 1/4 cup of lime juice to the cream mixture (depending on how much you like lime).
- 12 add in the rest of the contents from the slow cooker and stir to combine.
- 13 add in the pasta and coat.
- 14 serve with cilantro for garnish, if desired.
