Mom Mom's Mac And Cheese

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 cups macaroni
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3/4 lb sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg

Recipe

  • 1 cook macaroni in boiling water 5 minutes. drain and rinse twice with hot water. chop and grate cheese. ( or use shredded cheese). add with cooked noodles i n baking dish.
  • 2 heat the milk and add cornstarch to make a paste. don't let the milk get too hot. add beaten egg. pour over noodles and cheese. bake uncovered at 400 degrees in oven for 25 minutes.
