Nokedli / Spetzli

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 400 g flour
  • 1/4-1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 beat eggs add salt and four mixing into a dough add water until it becomes workable but not runny.
  • 2 i have a special nokedli maker from hungry but my mom would put the dough on a flat plat and using a knife just cut pieces or dollops into boiling salted water. once the dumplings have come to the top allow them to cook another minute or so and remove with a slotted spoon.
  • 3 add butter or olive oil and serve.
