Mexican Crockpot Chicken

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1/2 cup taco seasoning (costco sells this in a large container or make your own)
- 2 -3 lbs chicken breasts (frozen)
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 (15 ounce) cans mexican beans (pink) or 2 (15 ounce) cans black beans
- 1 cup water
- 1 -2 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1/2-1 cup sour cream (optional)
Recipe
- 1 in a crockpot combine water, taco seasoning, tomato sauce and beans.
- 2 place chicken (boneless or boned) on top.
- 3 cover and cook approx 8 hours on low or 5-6 on high.
- 4 once fully cooked shred chicken with 2 forks.
- 5 allow juices to soak into chicken threads.
- 6 serve over rice.
- 7 we enjoy this with a dollop of sour cream and cheese.
