Meatballs And Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (crushed) or 1 cup corn flakes (crushed)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons instant onion soup mix
  • 1 (16 ounce) can cranberry sauce, pureed in the blender
  • 1 (12 ounce) bottle chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Recipe

  • 1 mix all ingredients for the meatballs together. form into small balls. cook in 2 tablespoons hot cooking oil.
  • 2 sauce: combine ingredients in saucepan. cook, over medium heat, until smooth. pour over meatballs. serve with boiled rice or serve by themselves as party snacks.
