Millet Burgers

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 cups cooked millet
  • 3 stalks celery, finely chopped
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • oil (for frying)
  • breadcrumbs, for coating

Recipe

  • 1 combine the millet, celery and onion in a large mixing bowl. slowly stir in the eggs and 1/2 cup of bread crumbs. mix well. let stand for 1 hour.
  • 2 heat some oil (about 1/4 cup) in a large skillet. form patties out of the millet mixture, coat in bread crumbs and fry until golden brown on both sides.
