Lower Fat Baked Oatmeal

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 6 cups rolled oats (quick or regular)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar substitute (like splenda)
  • 4 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 cups milk (can substitute, soy, rice, etc.)
  • 4 eggs

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375.
  • 2 in a large bowl mix oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
  • 3 in a separate bowl beat eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
  • 4 mix all together.
  • 5 spread into a greased 9x13 inch pan or baking dish.
  • 6 bake for approximately 40 minutes or until firm to touch.
  • 7 *you can add a cup of raisins or dried cranberries if you like.
