Ingredients

- 2 cups macaroni
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- pepper
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
- breadcrumbs (optional)
Recipe
- 1 cook macaroni in salted water, drain.
- 2 melt butter and flour.
- 3 add milk until heated, not boiling.
- 4 add in seasonings, mustard, salt, and pepper.
- 5 melt in cheese, slowly.
- 6 pour into greased dish.
- 7 lightly cover with breadcrumbs if desired.
- 8 place into oven at 375 for 30 min or until lightly brown and bubbling nicely.
- 9 cool for 5-10 and serve.
