Oven Chicken & Rice

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 10 3/4 ounces condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 1 teaspoon dill, divided
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 lbs skinless chicken pieces
  • 1/2 cup crushed multi-grain cracker
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
  • 2 combine soup, water, rice, 3/4 teaspoon dill and pepper in 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
  • 3 arrange chicken pieces on top of rice mixture.
  • 4 cover tightly with foil.
  • 5 bake 45 minutes.
  • 6 sprinkle chicken pieces with crackers, paprika and remaining 1/4 teaspoon dill.
  • 7 drizzle with butter.
  • 8 bake 5 to 10 minutes or until chicken is tender.
  • 9 season to taste with salt and pepper.
