Perfect No Burn Popcorn - Every Kernal Pops And It's Healthy Too

Total Time: 7 mins Preparation Time: 2 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons popcorn
  • oil, in a spray
  • salt
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 place popcorn in 2 1/2 quart pyrex or other microwaveable bowl with a microwave lid. it's best to have lid vented, popcorn expands by violent steam pressure so let it out.
  • 2 microwave on hi for total of 3 minutes regardless if it's all popped or not.
  • 3 remove popped corn and place on flat cookie sheet
  • 4 microwave remaining un-popped kernals for another 2 minutes or til all is popped.
  • 5 spread popcorn on sheet and spray sparingly with oil - i use refillable mr. misto with extra virgin olive oil.
  • 6 salt to taste.
  • 7 be careful! steam is way hotter that boiling water - the bowl is hotter than a sob! i use my hand to remove popcorn from the pyrex bowl but would be safer with a spoon or spatula.
