Oven Beef Burgundy

Total Time: 3 hrs Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs beef, cut into 2 inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon kitchen bouquet
  • 1/4 cup cereal, cream of rice
  • 1/2 lb mushroom, sliced
  • 2 cups onions, diced
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 cup burgundy wine

Recipe

  • 1 place cut up beef in a 13 x 9 inch pan; add kitchen bouquet and coat meat on all sides; add cream of rice cereal and coat meat.
  • 2 add all other ingredients and gently mix.
  • 3 cover pan and bake at 325 degrees for 2 1/2 hours.
  • 4 stir once in a while.
