Oven Baked Macaroni And Cheese

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 lb elbow macaroni
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons onions, minced
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 4 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 lb sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (optional)
- salt
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400.
- 2 cook macaroni according to package directions.
- 3 melt butter in large sauce pan.
- 4 saute onion in butter until soft.
- 5 add flour and mustard to butter and cook until bubbly.
- 6 turn off heat and stir in milk.
- 7 put back on heat and stir with wire whisk until sauce thickens.
- 8 turn off heat and stir in worcestershire and cheese.
- 9 stir until cheese has melted.
- 10 add salt to taste.
- 11 mix in macaroni.
- 12 pour into 11x15 inch pan.
- 13 top with parmesan cheese (it adds that extra kick).
- 14 bake for 20 minutes.
