Peruvian Rice

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 garlic clove, mashed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups long-grain rice

Recipe

  • 1 wash and drain rice.
  • 2 saute garlic in oil for a minute or two.
  • 3 add water, lemon juice and salt.
  • 4 bring to a boil.
  • 5 gradually add rice.
  • 6 cover and simmer 20-30 minutes.
