Oatmeal Soup

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 cup mushroom, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup rolled oats (i used instant)
- 7 cups vegetable broth (or chicken broth)
- 1 (16 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- seasoning (of choice)
- 1 cup low-fat milk
Recipe
- 1 saute onion, mushrooms& garlic in a bit of the broth, about 5 minutes.
- 2 stir in oats, broth, tomatoes& tomato sauce.
- 3 bring to a boil.
- 4 reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
- 5 season and stir in milk.
